Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program

Pennsylvania EITC Program

This program allows BUSINESS and INDIVIDUAL taxpayers to direct their Pennsylvania taxes to scholarships that support Jewish education. Contributions can be directed to one of our 11 Jewish day schools and 25+ Jewish pre-schools in our region. PEP also partners with numerous non-public schools, including many which serve children with learning differences and support vulnerable populations.

Participation by Individuals

Individuals with a Pennsylvania tax liability can join a Special Purpose Entity (SPE) at the Pennsylvania Education Partnership LLC. An SPE is the vehicle through which the state enables participation in these tax credit programs. And, you can designate from PEP's participating schools.

Visit our EITC for Individuals page for further information.

Participation by Businesses

Pennsylvania businesses can apply directly to the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED).

OR

A business owner can join a PEP SPE where the contributions and tax credits are passed through to the individual.

For businesses wishing to participate directly with the Commonwealth by applying for their own tax credits, PEP partners with the Jewish Foundation for Day Schools (FJDS).

PEP directs EITC contributions directly to DCED-recognized Scholarship Organizations. Contributions to the Philadelphia region's Jewish day schools and preschools are sent to the Foundation for Jewish Day Schools for distribution to the recipient institutions.

Visit our EITC for Businesses page for further information.
